Frontend related tracking
Section titled “Frontend related tracking”For tracking frontend related events in your systems be they mobile, web or otherwise you need to follow the next steps.
Note: This functionality is already implemented in our iOS and Android SKDs
- The first thing is already implemented by us in our landing pages. When the user clicks on an offer on our landing page the url is copied to clipboard with some additional query parameters.
- When the user opens the app you need to check the last item in the clipboard. If the last item in the clipboard is an url with
envoyin the domain name proceed to step 3, otherwise the flow ends here. - Save the envoy query parameters(
envoy_share_link_hash, envoy_link_uuid) locally - Now when you send one of the predefined events related to frontend(Marked with yellow in the table above) please also send those query params. This way you can see how many users got on your platform from envoy
And that’s it 🎉
